Hello my good dudes :) I didn't think I had much to say for my thing this year but looks like I was mistaken haha 2023 Weird one. This is the year I stopped talking to everyone and. Really liked it actually. I'm still a part of those circles but honestly there's quite a few people that I just struggle to vibe with these days and I've ended up distancing myself a bit because of it. The break was refreshing, but the community feels fractured and I don't like to think I've become spiteful or petty. I'm sure it'll pass with time, and things should pick up again now December is over and people are getting more active again. Ganza season is approaching too. It'd be nice to catch up with everyone. That said, I was thinking it weird how I didn't seem to get that far in my comic this year, and then I remember I had 3 hiatuses this year haha- the art fight one that ended up lasting several months (whoops) in particular really gave me a moment to reflect and it was. strangely wholesome. Happy New Year my dudes! I stayed up way late last night and for some reason the sleepy did not hit like it usually does. Half of the world is ill and missed the party smh but I had very good time and now I'm having a pajama day bc nothing like starting the new year as a slob lol 2022 It was a bad year for a lot of people. As for me personally, though? It had it's low points but overall, it was pretty good. Though it tailed off at the end, my god, hearing so much dire news in the friend and family circles lately. We started getting out more, doing things again. Decoration was finally finished officially for my flat too, with the hanging of the bigass mirror that had been sitting on the floor for months, haha. I went absolutely apeshit in artfight this year too and tried some new things with my art. I've had a lot of fun in that area so totes up for more of that thanks Last year I mentioned missing out on a trip to Poland in December bc I can't get time off work then and hilariously
